Paul Chant

Paul Chant is a long time New Hampshire litigation attorney.  He was named New Hampshire Magazine’s NH Personal Injury lawyer of the Year in 2015.  He has been named a SuperLawyer in New England for the past 6 years.  Paul is a Director of the firm of Cooper Cargill Chant, with offices in North Conway and Berlin.  Paul started his career in 1986 with the firm of Hamblett & Kerrigan in Nashua.  He became a partner in the firm and active community member in Nashua, including service on the Nashua Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, as a member and chair of the Nashua Youth Council Board, and much involvement with various Nashua School committees.  In 1999, Paul moved his family to beautiful Chocorua, New Hampshire, joining the firm of Cooper, Deans and Cargill (now Cooper Cargill Chant).  Paul has worked diligently on Bar oriented activities as a member of the Bar Association Board of Directors, as a member and Chair of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, and as a Board member and Chair of the New Hampshire Association for Justice.  Paul was a recipient of the Bar Association’s Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession.  Paul has served also on the New Hampshire Access to Justice Commision.  Paul has also been active in a variety of diverse Boards, including The Tamworth Foundation, The Barnstormers Theatre, West Main Recreation (The Ham Arena),  The Mount Washington Economic Council, The Book Love Foundation, The Northern NH Charitable Foundation, and the Tamworth School District as School Moderator.

Paul lives in Chocorua with his wife Anne.  He enjoys skiing, kayaking, Boston sports teams, and all things outdoors.
