Linda Lovering

Linda grew up in Milford New Hampshire and attended the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business, presently the Paul School. Her studies included a Semester at Sea her senior year, in which she traveled the world studying international business and marketing for 3 ½ months. In 1981 she accepted a position at Sander’s Associates (presently BAE Systems) as an Administrator/Accountant for the machine shop in the flexible circuit division. She was the first woman to hold this position. She met her husband Rich there and was married in 1983. In 1984, they had their first child and she decided to stay home and do some part-time work.

In 1996, they were presented with an opportunity to purchased Capital City Motors, a small Volvo and Isuzu dealership and decided to take the chance and become business owners. It turned out to be one of the best decision they ever made!

In 1998, Linda was awarded the Volvo franchise for the Nashua location and opened Lovering Volvo Cars Nashua. After growing the business, they saw a need in the northern part of the state and decided to open another location in Meredith in 2004, to serve their northern customers.

Linda has been active with the local and state community, serving on a variety of nonprofit boards and is a corporator for NH Mutual Bancorp.

Linda and her husband Rich have been married for 39 years. They have four children, 4 granddaughters, two grandsons and two dogs. Linda loves to ballroom dance, play tennis, kayak, hike and enjoy all the outdoor activities in the Lakes Region. They live in Meredith, NH.
