Thank you to everyone who helped to recognize this year’s milestone-year advocates and our recipients of the Linda Egbert Outstanding Advocacy Award, the John McDermott Champion of Children Award and the Community Partner Award. The annual celebration also featured remarks from CASA CEO and President Marty Sink and Board co-chairs Amy Coveno and David Eby. It includes a tribute to the Hon. Bud Martin, a long-time family court judge who became a CASA for nearly 10 years in his retirement, and it closed with two amazing former CASA children who have overcome great obstacles in their youth, speaking about the importance of and the impact made by their CASA volunteers.
