How you can help promote CASA Cares for the Community

Our annual gala, CASA Cares, was cancelled earlier this year due to COVID-19. Worried about the impact this would have on the organization as we continue to recruit and train new advocates, we had to get creative. CASA Cares for the Community, on Friday, September 25, is a virtual rendition of our annual gala. The event will not only help us provide more voices for New Hampshire’s most vulnerable population, but this year we have the chance to support community members across the state who have been affected by the virus as well.
Throwing a virtual event like this is completely new to our organization. As we continue to learn more, we have found that the number one tool to hosting a successful virtual event is to have many active “event goers” or views on the live stream. If you’d like to help CASA turn this event into an exciting and unforgettable night, below are 3 ways you can help us promote CASA Cares for the Community:

Hi there,

I wanted to invite you to join me for a 1-hour virtual event on Friday, September 25 from 7-8 p.m.: CASA Cares for the Community.

As you may know, I am a volunteer with CASA of New Hampshire – a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing advocates for abused and neglected children during the court process that shapes their future. This year, the pandemic has interfered with CASA’s annual gala; it’s largest annual fundraising event.

CASA Cares for the Community is using the virtual platform to help more than just the children without a voice that we serve. It is celebrating two deserving families that are part of our CASA community, and it is supporting local businesses by buying gift cards and auctioning them off to the highest bidder.

There will be a live auction filled with excursions, weekend packages, a high-end outdoor gear package and a even a virtual “happy half hour” with Seth Meyers and three of your friends. Hosted by auctioneer and entertainer Mark Fodero and WMUR’s Amy Coveno, expect an hour of fun for a good cause. You can even participate before the event by purchasing a Golden Ticket (winner chooses any live auction package they want for just the $100 raffle ticket price) or a chance to win a stunning pair of diamond stud earrings.

We continue to share posts about our live auction items, fun recipes from our guest chefs that you’ll want to make before you log on to enjoy while you watch, video messages from special guests, raffle updates, and other fun elements of the night to spark interest. If you see a post on our Facebook Page, (or Twitter or LinkedIn) share it with your friends and family and remind them that this year’s “evening of giving” is just an hour on Friday, September 25!
