As we proudly packed up our CASA booth at the Northeast Delta Dental stadium last year, after an evening of celebrating New Hampshire’s “Best Ofs,” we didn’t expect that the next one would be held in your living rooms. The team at New Hampshire Magazine didn’t expect it either, but to successfully plan and host Best of New Hampshire Party at YOUR House in less than three months was remarkable. We were honored to remain as the nonprofit beneficiary partner alongside the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association (NHLRA) this year.

This year, more than 13,000 people cast their votes for New Hampshire’s best restaurants, shops, and services. The “Best Of” winners were kept a surprise until the virtual event aired. Throughout the event, New Hampshire residents had a chance to win great prizes by either donating to either nonprofit, or participating in the contests on the Facebook event.

As this year’s Best of NH winners scrolled across the screen, residents watched live entertainment from some of New Hampshire’s greatest musicians and chefs from the comfort of their own homes. Live music included American Idol Finalist Alex Preston, John Davidson, The Soggy Po’ Boys, Harsh Armadillo, and many more. Chefs and bartenders from New England’s Tap House Grille,  Jim Beam Black, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Kitchen Art & Bar, and Greenleaf showcased some of their best recipes — all of which can be found on Best Of New Hampshire’s Facebook event page.

But the most remarkable thing that New Hampshire Magazine accomplished with this free event? It helped raise over $2,000 for CASA of New Hampshire! We know when everyone can gather again for next year’s party our friends a New Hampshire Magazine will make it bigger and better than ever, but we simply cannot thank them enough for the fantastic event that they accomplished virtually this year.
