STAR-STUDDED COMEDY NIGHT A SUCCESS

CASA OF NH NEWS — (Nov 07, 2007) — Manchester (OCT. 19, 2007)  It was a glamorous night — filled with bright lights and red carpets. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of NH hosted its 3rd Annual Comedy Night for CASA with a sell-out crowd. The Oct. 19th gathering “A Night of Comedy in Hollywood/Red Carpet Style” was an important fundraiser for CASA, a private, nonprofit organization committed to speaking for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the New Hampshire courts. The event took place at the NH Institute of Art in Manchester. Tiffany Eddy – News Anchor at WMUR News 9 – emceed the event and Boston comedians Jim Colliton and Kevin Knox provided the laughs. The event raised over $40,000 to benefit CASA of NH. “CASA’s Comedy Night is traditionally a themed event — this year we enjoyed a Hollywood night filled with glamour and bright lights. The evening gives people the opportunity to help children in their communities and enjoy a fabulous evening in the process,” said Marcia Sink, president/CEO of CASA. “Approximately 1,000 children are currently represented by nearly 400 CASA volunteers throughout New Hampshire.”
