Snow Fest at Loon was great success!
CASA OF NH NEWS — (Feb 22, 2006) —
The CASA Snow Fest was held on Friday, February 10 on the slopes of Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire to raise funds and awareness for New Hampshire’s abused and neglected children.

Hosted by WMUR TV-9’s News Anchor Tiffany Eddy and Sean McDonald and members of WOKQ’s Morning Waking Crew, Mark Ericson and Danielle Carrier, the event was a great success! Close to 100 skiers “raced” their way down the Coolidge Street trail on two specially designed side-by-side ski courses, competing for awards. The following awards were given:
- Bode Miller Award for Fastest Male: Steve Founds
- Picabo Street Award for Fastest Female: Suzanne Whitcher
- Mr. I. M. Slow Award for Male: Nathan Saller
- Ms. Cindy Slowdown Award for Female: Deb Golder
- Best Dressed Team: The Bellwether Snowmen Team from Bellwether Community Credit Union
- Most Improved Skier to Dean Williams of Martignetti Companies of NH
- 1st Place Team: Maine Distillers
- 2nd Place Team: Loon Seniors
- 3rd Place Team: White Lightning Team
