Made in NH Expo was a huge success!
CASA OF NH NEWS — (Apr 16, 2008) —
The “Try it and Buy it” Made in MH Expo was held Friday, April 4th through Sunday, April 6th at the New Hampshire National Guard Armory. With the generous support from numerous volunteers, the Common Man Restaurant and Whoop It Up CASA raised funds and awareness for New Hampshire’s abused and neglected children.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Annette and Will Boucher and a dedicated group of volunteers for taking time out of their busy schedules to again make this year’s event a huge success. Many thanks to Bud and Barbara Heller, Bruce Flegal, Linda Clark, Martha Cate, Suzanne Lajoie, Susan Evans, Linda Hamada, Pat Brent, Patricia Carroll, Virginia Molly and Mark and Julia Masury for selling CASA merchandise and providing information about CASA to the public.
Words can not express our sincere gratitude to Alex Ray and his wonderful staff from the Common Man Restaurant for once again contributing the proceeds from their crab cake and Caesar salad sales to CASA. The Common Man Restaurants raised $7,300.00 on our behalf.
With the excitement of the event, a new friendship was formed between CASA and Whoop it Up, a Whoopie Pie company in the booth right next to the CASA booth. Whoop It Up sold raffle tickets for an extra large whoopie pie and donated $151.00 from their proceeds to CASA as well.
Thanks again to everyone who was took part in making this event a great success.
