CASA OF NH NEWS — (Jun 10, 2008) —
On April 19, 2008 The Sons of the American Legion Post 27 of Londonderry held their 15th Annual King of Clubs Pool Tournament. For the fourth year the Sons of the American Legion donated the proceeds from the tournament to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of NH. CASA of NH recruits, trains and supervises volunteers who then advocate for abused and neglected children in courts throughout the state as their guardians ad litem.
On June 4, 2008 a check for $3,500 was presented to CASA by the Sons of the American Legion Post 27 president, Paul Curtis, and Eddie Johnson, King of Clubs organizer. CASA of NH thanks all the members of Post 27 in Londonderry for their continued support and generous donation.
