CASA Hosts North Country Information Session on May 24th
CASA OF NH NEWS — (May 05, 2010) —
Please join CASA of New Hampshire’s President and CEO Marcia (Marty) Sink who will be hosting an information session at the CASA office in Colebrook from 3-5 PM on May 24th. This open house is a great opportunity for interested community members to learn more about CASA and how you can stand up for abused and neglected children.
“We need to raise the public’s awareness of the devastating effects of child abuse,” said Sink. “Together, we will help break the cycle of abuse.”
CASA Volunteers are ordinary people who do extraordinary things for New Hampshire’s most fragile victims. They spend an average of 8-10 hours per month advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children as Guardians ad Litem in the local family court system. Our volunteers live all over the region and come from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds.
