CASA of New Hampshire offers a variety of trainings to fit the varied schedules of potential volunteers across the state. Our regular, 40-hour pre-service training for volunteers follows either a daytime schedule, or an evening/weekend schedule aimed at folks who work during the day. In areas of the state where volunteers have to travel far to train, we do an Independent Study that requires a little less classroom time. It stretches over a month, and four of the ten units are completed solo, then forwarded to a CASA supervisor for input.
Upcoming trainings are currently scheduled for:
Manchester Day Training 5 days during November 30 – December 10
Keene Independent Study training, beginning November 13th.
Our first trainings of 2011 will occur in Manchester, Coos County and Dover. Dates are as follows:
Manchester Day Training – 6 days between January 25 and February 10
Coos Independent Study (location to be determined) beginning March 5th
Dover Evening/Weekend – various days/evenings March 8 – March 26th
Applications to the CASA program must be received two weeks prior to the desired training in order to assure time for processing. For more information, contact Diane at 603-626-4600. Download your application here.
