Upper Valley Graduates new Class of CASA/GAL Volunteers

CASA is proud to welcome our newest graduating class of volunteers!

Ready to serve New Hampshire’s most fragile victims, six Upper Valley residents recently finished their 40 hours of pre-service training and will soon be taking cases in Lebanon, Claremont and Newport Family Courts.

“I know this class of volunteers will make a substantial impact on the lives of New Hampshire’s children,” said Todd Bookman, CASA staff member and trainer. “This is a very motivated and passionate team.”

The Upper Valley continues to have a great need for CASA volunteers, as we are only able to accept roughly 80% of the cases that come through the court system. As trained guardians ad litem, CASA volunteers can help end the cycle of abuse and neglect by being a strong voice in court for a child.
